It takes a lot of water, fertilizer, and time to maintain a lush green lawn.  Learn how and what to replace your lawn with to improve your soil, reduce your water use and provide habitat for native plants and animals. Join Master Gardener volunteers as we share tips and techniques for removing and replacing your lawn.

Space is limited. Registration is required.

About the branch

The Live Oak Library Annex (LOLA) is an extension of the resources that the Live Oak Branch Library provides to the Live Oak community. In collaboration with the Santa Cruz County Parks, LOLA primarily serves as a program space and quiet study area. It also provides access to study rooms and limited library services including a small collection of about 500 books for children and teens. The LOLA is located at the Simpkins Family Swim Center at 979 17th Ave., Santa Cruz, CA 95062.
