Come learn about  CERT (Community Emergency Response Training)  training  so you can be prepared to "Do the greatest good for the greatest number in the SLV!"

SLVEN (San Lorenzo Valley Emergency Network) will present information about emergency preparedness for several specific situations. Attendees will learn what actions they can take today to make themselves, their families, and their neighborhoods more ready and resilient for our upcoming seasons. Bring your questions and concerns.

This free training is sponsored by FEMA and local professional response agencies, including Felton Fire. SLVEN (San Lorenzo Valley Emergency Network) will present information about emergency preparedness for several specific situations. Community-led Learning Bio: A resident of Felton, Liz Taylor-Selling has been promoting and teaching CERT for 18 years here, working with Felton Fire, the CERT Auxiliary of Santa Cruz County, and Mountain Community Resources. Tami Tracey has been a leader with SLVEN for over 10 years, helping to organize public meetings on preparedness topics, and maintaining the website with resources for community members. Current interest is MURS radio for neighborhoods. Tami resides in Felton.
