In this workshop, find out which poems to add to your portfolio, get advice on writing your resume or brag sheet, and learn how to submit your 2026-27 Youth Poet Laureate application (due 3/1/26)

  • Workshops are led by award-winning poets
  • This workshop series is a part of our Santa Cruz County Youth Poet Laureate Program. More information about the application is available here. 
  • Any county resident ages 13-18 can participate in any or all workshops
  • No poetry experience necessary
  • Free!
