Social Isolation: Its Impact on Emotional Health is the topic of the second workshop offered by the Friends of the Aptos Library on February 7. Ms Kim DeSerpa, former Licensed Clinical Social Worker and our current SC County District 2 Supervisor, will discuss strategies for understanding, coping, and healing emotionally from social isolation. The goal is to provide participants with an understanding of the ways these issues manifest themselves in people of all ages and to provide some tools and resources to help them navigate these difficulties so as to lead a healthier life.
Time: 3-4:30 pm at Aptos Library. Doors open at 2:30.
