This presentation will outline some strategies that DNA testers might use to help determine the identity of a DNA match. Identifying who our DNA matches are can enable us to discover where we connect with our DNA cousins, or at least get us closer to the answer. Gail will use two case studies she has pursued as examples of this process.
Gail Burk is a long-time member of the Genealogical Society of Santa Cruz County, and a genealogist for more than 40 years. She has delivered a variety of programs over the years, and currently, she co-facilitates the monthly DNA Special Interest Group sessions for the Society. Gail graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara, where she majored in art, and minored in history.
