Retirement today is more complex than ever. Join us for a free, educational workshop designed for those approaching or already in retirement.

Retirement today presents new challenges and decisions that many individuals did not face in previous generations. Longer life expectancies, market volatility, inflation, changing tax rules, and rising healthcare costs can all affect long-term financial security.

The New Retirement Reality is a free, educational workshop designed for individuals approaching retirement or already retired. The session focuses on improving financial literacy by providing a clear, unbiased overview of common retirement risks and planning considerations, including income planning, taxes, Social Security, healthcare, and estate planning fundamentals.

Participants will gain an overview of key retirement considerations, including:

  • Common financial risks in retirement, such as market volatility, inflation, taxes, and longevity
  • Retirement income sources and sustainability considerations
  • How taxes can affect retirement income and withdrawal strategies
  • Social Security claiming considerations and common misconceptions
  • Healthcare and long-term care considerations
  • Basic estate and legacy planning concepts

By the end of the workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Identify major financial risks that can impact retirement
  • Better understand how income, taxes, and timing affect retirement outcomes
  • Recognize common planning mistakes and misconceptions
  • Ask more informed questions when making retirement-related financial decisions

Presenter
The workshop is led by Daniel Foss (ChFC, CLU), a financial professional with advanced training in comprehensive retirement planning, risk management, taxation, estate planning, and insurance. Dan is dedicated to promoting financial literacy and providing clear, unbiased education to the community.

Please register for one workshop only. The same workshop occurs at both 12 pm and 6 pm.
