A Women's History Month celebration with inspiring guest speakers, performances, women-focused orgs, hands-on activities and more.

Join us in celebrating Women's History Month by paying tribute to the stories of remarkable women who have left an indelible mark on our community and beyond. SCPL Librarians will be in attendance with fun and interesting artifacts about local women in Santa Cruz County History.

We’ll be hearing from three influential local women, each representing a different era in Santa Cruz's history - the past, the present, and the future - showcasing the enduring and evolving impact of female leadership and vision in shaping our community.

Event Features:

  • Hands-on activities
  • Guest Speakers
  • Women-focused organizations
  • Performances & more!

This year’s HERstory Celebration will feature performances by talented youth from Santa Cruz County, highlighting the next generation of creativity and expression. A dynamic high school dance team will take the stage, showcasing the power of movement, storytelling, and community through their performance. These young artists embody the spirit of the future, bringing energy, passion, and a fresh perspective to our celebration of women’s impact across generations.
