To celebrate the opening of the Rispin Park and Earth Day, a special storytime will take place in the Rispin Park amphitheater.
Located in the amphitheater of the Park at the Rispin Mansion, storytime will take place directly after the City of Capitola's Opening Ceremony for the newly-constructed Park at the Rispin Mansion. Join elected officials from the City of Capitola and storytime friends while Librarian Laura reads stories, sings songs and reflects on the beauty of the surrounding area. This storytime commemorates the special connection of the location of the Capitola Branch Library to the historic Park at the Rispin Mansion, directly adjacent to it.
Directions: Located at 2000 Wharf Rd., Capitola, Ca. 95010.
From the library: to get to the Park at Rispin Mansion’s new amphitheater, take a left at the Park entrance, go along the sidewalk until the end of the wall, then take a right on the path down. You will see a lower entrance to the Park, walk to your right, pass the game tables and the mansion. The amphitheater will be on your right.
From Nob Hill parking lot: walk over the bridge and along the pathway until you come to the Park’s lower entrance; walk in past the game tables and the mansion until you see the amphitheater on your right.
Please note: parking at the Capitola Branch Library is extremely limited. Please plan accordingly.
