Join Hula dancer, Pearl Mendes, in this 1-hr. Hula workshop. Pearl will teach you how to Hula and share her Native Hawaiian culture and language with participants in honor of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Get ready to move and have fun! Free!
This program takes the place of our regularly schedules Make & Explore afterschool STEAM program (3-5pm). Participants who arrive at 3 will have the option to make a paper lei!
Our Hula Instructor: Pearl Mendes is a well-known Hula dancer. She is Hawaiian born and raised and performs traditional style Hula dances. Pearl is happy to share the Aloha spirit and likes sharing Hawaiian culture through her dance.
