Join us for an inspirational evening with author Terry Healey. His newly released book, The Resilience Mindset: How Adversity Can Strengthen Individuals, Teams, and Leaders is for anyone facing life’s challenges and wanting stronger coping skills. The book offers an actionable framework and includes evidence-backed research and stories from others who overcame seemingly insurmountable odds to overcome adversity and create a more fulfilling life.

During his visit, Terry shares survival techniques from his life-threatening battle with an aggressive form of cancer that left him with a permanent facial difference at age twenty-one. He shares how he found a way to harness daily inspirations and transform them into four guiding principles that became a framework for facing adversity and building a resilient and fulfilling life. Terry takes you through his harrowing personal ordeal and what enabled him to focus on the positive aspects of his life that weren’t only lessons he learned, but gifts that he could impart to others struggling with their own challenges. He shares ways to take control, overcome challenges, build trust and teams, face adversity and change, build resilience, and gain confidence.
