Reading your work out loud requires a specific set of skills. In this workshop, teen writers will learn how to use inflection, pacing, volume and more to give your work the meaning it deserves for an appreciative group of listeners. No experience necessary.


This workshop series is a part of our Santa Cruz County Youth Poet Laureate Program, now through Spring 2026.
