Join us at the Downtown Library and enjoy free jazz music by local professional musicians. 

 In memory of her husband, bassist and jazz singer, Betty N. has created the William H. Nadeau Memorial Fund promoting and rewarding excellence in jazz performance. In partnering with the library, the memorial fund is able to bring the wonderful sounds of live jazz music to the community. This program will run on the first Friday of every month for the rest of the year.

The Jon Dryden Trio performs the music of jazz icon Bill Evans, the lyrical pianist. His melodic lines, intricate phrasing, and beautiful touch continue to influence contemporary jazz pianists. Notable songs include My Foolish Heart, Emily, Some Day My Prince Will Come, and Waltz For Debby.
