Jazz at the Library

Free live jazz every first Friday

Join us at the Downtown Library and enjoy free jazz music by local musicians. 

In memory of her husband, bassist and jazz singer, Betty N. has created the William H. Nadeau Memorial Fund promoting and rewarding excellence in jazz performance. In partnering with the library, the memorial fund is able to bring the wonderful sounds of live jazz music to the community. This program will run on the first Friday of every month for the rest of the year.

For the August concert: Tim Jackson and Friends is led by Santa Cruz flutist Tim Jackson and features Jay Jackson on piano, Zach Westfall on bass and Mike Shannon on drums. This quartet performs a variety of material, including standards, Latin sambas, and jazz-funk.
