Join us for Neighbors for Neighbors: At the Intersections, in partnership with Santa Cruz Public Libraries.
You will meet new friends and strengthen existing bonds necessary for solving homelessness.
The new discussion format will focus on building community. This is not a passive event, it’s an active participatory experience.
We will examine the intersection of housing insecurity and homelessness with various aspects of individual identity – including race, gender, ability, age, sexuality, and more – and how these identities interact to create unique experiences.
You will understand how your interest and investment in other social justice movements relates directly to the movement to resolve homelessness.
You will meet other people in our community who share your passion for the equitable and just treatment of all people.
You will be joined in a circle with fellow community members, experts on the topic, and people with lived experience of homelessness
This year, we will be hosting Neighbors for Neighbors at three local library locations: Capitola, Branciforte and the Watsonville public library. We are thrilled to offer this program in YOUR neighborhood. Join us at your local library.
