Financial Literacy For Teens Session 2.0 - Manage Your Money

Have you earned some money from a summer job? Are you curious about how best to manage it? Christopher Genetti, a local financial consultant, will help you learn how.

Come join us in the Fireside Room at the Scotts Valley Library from 1PM-2PM on Saturday, August 30th, to learn some money management fundamentals. Christopher Genetti, a local financial consultant, will be presenting the following Moneywise America course:

"Session 2.0 - Manage Your Money"

The purpose of this lesson is to introduce participants to elements of money management: understanding a paycheck, knowing where to put money, and grasping the products/institutions that can safely store your money.

A video will present the teen characters meeting up after getting paid from their jobs and figuring out how to manage their money. Participants will also learn about financial institutions and products, as well as the most cost effective ways to access their hard earned money.

Christopher Genetti, MBA, CFP, CWS, is Vice President Corporate Financial Consultant for Nvidia HQ Corp in Santa Clara CA, and an experienced presenter on financial literacy topics for a variety of audiences.

Moneywise America is the financial literacy branch of Charles Schwab aimed at leveling the economic playing field through high-quality financial education for teens, with a focus on reaching youth in under-resourced communities and schools.
