Join us on January 17, 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. at the Scotts Valley Library for an inspiring talk with Laurie Hildebrand, winner of a $50,000 grant supporting the high school welding program. Laurie will share how this award is expanding opportunities for students, as well as her experiences building a career in a nontraditional field. It’s a great chance to learn how hands-on technical education is opening doors—and to hear firsthand what it’s like to break barriers in the trades.
