Intro to Calligraphy and some modern variations: a demonstration as much as can be squeezed into an hour.

Carl Rohrs is a Santa Cruz lettering artist, graphic designer and retired sign painter. He teaches graphic design and typography at Cabrillo College, and modern calligraphy workshops internationally. He is the editor of Alphabet, The Journal of the Friends of Calligraphy, as well as editor/designer of the 25th edition of the Speedball Textbook, and is currently at work on the 26th.

This event is being presented by the Friends of the Branciforte Library.
